AIA inspires primary school children to get active and healthy in a fun way with the AIA Healthy Kids Challenge
The AIA Healthy Kids Challenge is a five-week programme that aims to inspire 15,000 primary school children to be active and healthy – all while having fun and learning.
Each child receives a free pedometer and gets to build their own unique avatar. They learn and have fun counting their steps in the real world which takes them on a fun virtual journey around the world led by our ambassadors Gemma Flynn, Cory Jane and Tom Abercrombie.
Each time the class completes a country leg, they get entries into the draw to win prizes including AIA sports grants and Huawei tablets for their school. And parents, friends and family can support them by doing the challenge as well. The more parents that support the challenge, the more chances their child’s school has to win prizes.
The AIA Healthy Kids Challenge is part of our aim to improve the health of every Kiwi and there is no better place to start than with our kids.
