AIA New Zealand recognises its responsibilities in relation to the collection, holding, use and disclosure of personal information under the Privacy Act 1993. You may choose not to provide us with the requested personal information, but failure to do so may inhibit our ability to do business with you.

From time to time we may collect and use your personal information for purposes relating to our business with you including, but not limited to, for the purposes of processing your application, the assessment and processing of claims and any other administration relevant to any policy issued by AIA New Zealand, for AIA New Zealand’s internal purposes, to manage and promote the business activities of AIA New Zealand, to meet requirements imposed by law and for marketing and promotional purposes. In connection with these purposes, personal information may be made available to our subsidiary and affiliated companies, local and overseas (and in this regard you consent to the transfer of your information outside New Zealand) and to any agent, contractor or third party who provides administrative or other services to AIA New Zealand or any member of the AIA Group.

Under the Privacy Act 1993 you have the right to request access to, and correction of, your personal information held by AIA New Zealand. Requests for access and correction should be made in writing to AIA New Zealand Compliance at nz.service@aia.com or Private Bag 300981, Albany, North Shore City 0752, New Zealand.
