This “AIA Junior Soccer Skills Session” Promotion (“Promotion”) is conducted by AIA International Limited, trading as AIA New Zealand, Level 15, 5-7 Byron Avenue, Takapuna, Auckland, and Sovereign Services Limited, 74 Taharoto Road, Takapuna, Auckland (“AIA NZ”)
Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions. By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The Promotion commences 19th September 2018 and ends 5.00pm, 5th October 2018 (“Promotion Period”).
Only entrants who satisfy the requirements below are eligible to enter the Promotion (“Eligible Entrants”):
adult entrants must 18 years of age or older at the commencement of the Promotion;
the child named in the entry form must be aged between 8 and 13 years old during the Promotion Period;
both adult and child entrants must be willing and able to travel on the dates specified in the Prize (refer to Conditions 8 to 17 below);
the adult entrant must be the child entrant’s legal guardian, or have obtained consent from the child entrant’s legal guardian(s) for the child to enter the Promotion prior to the entry form being submitted;
employees (and each of their immediate family members) of AIA NZ and its related companies are not eligible to enter.
Further to Condition 4(d) above, the adult entrant must, in the event that they are selected as a Winner, be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of the child entrant during the entire travel period in connection with the Prize. AIA NZ reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to make any changes to an Eligible Entrant’s ability to claim a Prize in the event that it has any concerns over the safety or wellbeing of a child entrant.

There is a limit of one (1) entry per person. A person can enter the Promotion as either a participant in the Healthiest Schools Challenge or the Support Crew Challenge, but not both. Where both the adult and child are participants in either the Healthiest Schools Challenge or the Support Crew Challenge, that entry will receive two entries into the Prize Draw.
There are five (5) prizes to be won. Each prize consists of a travel package consisting of:
attendance at a junior soccer skills session with AIA Global Ambassador David Beckham on 2nd November 2018 at ES Marks Athletics Field, Kensington, Sydney, Australia, where:
the child entrant will participate in the skills session; and
the adult entrant will attend in a supervisory capacity only;
two return economy class flight tickets from Auckland to Sydney departing on 1st November 2018, and returning on 3rd November 2018;
return flights to Auckland from the relevant Winner’s closest commercial New Zealand airport if they do not live in Auckland (refer also to Conditions 9 and 10 below); and
two (2) nights accommodation in Sydney with airport and hotel transfer. The accommodation will be at the discretion of AIA NZ,
In the event that a Winner does not live in Auckland, AIA NZ reserves the right at its sole discretion to arrange regional flights for the relevant Winners to and from Auckland. This may be outside the travel dates specified in Condition 8(b) in the event that there are no available flights to or from the Winner’s nearest regional airport on these travel dates. In such event, AIA NZ will arrange for suitable airport accommodation for the Winners.
Winners requiring travel to and from Auckland in accordance with Condition 9 above must be available to travel in accordance with the travel arrangements made by AIA NZ in order to accept the Prize.
AIA NZ reserves the right to modify any travel arrangements for any Winner in connection with the Prize at its sole discretion as may be necessary in facilitating the Promotion.
The Prize is as stated and does not include any incidental expenses such as travel to or from domestic airports, car hire or taxis, meals or in-room dining.
Both the adult and child Winner must travel together on the same flights in both directions.
Travel insurance, meals and allowance will not be included.
Passports and visas are the responsibility of the winners.
Frequent Flyer points are not applicable.
Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. Prizes cannot be used in combination with any other prize competitions, promotions or discounts.
The Prize Draw will be held on 8th October 2018 (“Prize Draw”). The first five (5) Eligible Entrants drawn will each win a Prize (“Winners”). The Winners will be notified by AIA NZ via email within three (3) business days of the Prize Draw.
If a Winner:
cannot be contacted after reasonable efforts have been made by AIA NZ (within three business days of the Prize Draw); or
has not confirmed acceptance of the Prize by 12pm 15th October 2018; or
is unable or unwilling to accept a Prize, or the child named on the entry form is unable to travel or gain consent from their legal guardian(s) to travel,
then AIA NZ reserves the right at its sole discretion to draw another Winner from all remaining Eligible Entrants.
Winners cannot change the adult or child entrant travelling to Sydney in connection with the Prize, unless AIA NZ at its sole discretion allows otherwise.
AIA NZ’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the Prize Draw or related decisions. AIA NZ reserves the right to verify the validity of an entry or a Winner’s right to redeem a Prize in accordance with these terms and conditions, including requiring evidence that a child entrant’s legal guardian has given consent for the child to travel to Sydney in connection with the Prize.
Entrants who provide incorrect, misleading or fraudulent information are ineligible to participate in the Promotion and all entries deemed by AIA NZ to have provided incorrect, misleading or fraudulent information may, at the discretion of the AIA NZ, be deemed invalid.
AIA NZ shall have no liability for a Winner's failure to receive notices due to a Winner’s spam, junk email or other security settings or for a Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information.
AIA bears no responsibility for either adult or child entrant not being able to travel to Sydney in connection with the Prize, including where consent of a child’s guardian is not properly obtained, or is revoked prior to the travel date.
AIA NZ reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without notice. AIA NZ reserves the right to cancel, suspend or change the Promotion or any element of the Promotion for any reason, including any cancellation, suspension or change necessitated by any event outside of AIA NZ’s control.
The Winners agree that AIA NZ (and its related companies and marketing partners) is entitled to use their name and photographs for AIA NZ external and internal marketing, promotion, communication and publicity purposes in connection with the Promotion.
Personal details provided in connection with entering the Promotion will be collected and shared only with AIA NZ, its marketing partners, and AIA Australia, for the sole purpose of running the Promotion.
AIA NZ and its related companies will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the Promotion or any Prize.
AIA NZ takes no responsibility for any misdirected, lost, incomplete, damaged, corrupted, incorrectly submitted or late entries, or any human error, technical malfunctions, lost or delayed data transmission, computer or network failure, or any other interruption that may affect the conduct of this Promotion or the Prize Draw.
Under the Privacy Act 1993, all individuals have the right to access and correct their personal information held by AIA NZ by contacting AIA NZ in writing at Level 15, 5-7 Byron Avenue, Takapuna, Auckland.
