    HOW AN ADVISER CAN HELP

    Our advisers combine knowledge of our insurance options with an in-depth understanding of your financial situation, so you know you’re making the right choice – whether that means life, trauma, disability, or health insurance. 

    Getting your insurance sorted can sometimes feel complicated. What are the options? What’s best for you? What happens if things change in the future? That’s what insurance advisers are for.

    Why use an insurance adviser?

    Advisers are financial experts who can help you with anything from insurance and investments right through to general financial advice.​

    If you need information on the different insurance options available, and which are best suited to your circumstances, speaking to an adviser can give you everything you need.

    They can also provide you with an ongoing, supportive relationship. They are there to guide you throughout the whole process, including if your circumstances change, if you need to make a claim, or if you just want further information.

    Best of all, in most cases using an insurance adviser is free. Insurance companies pay them commission, so it doesn’t cost you anything.

    How does the process work?

    Once you’ve asked to speak to an adviser, they’ll call you back within two days for an initial conversation. After that, you’ll meet in person to review what sort of insurance cover you need and what options are best suited to you.

    When you’re ready to go ahead, the adviser will handle the application process. This usually takes around 2-4 weeks, depending on how many meetings you need or how long it takes to collect any background details.

    If you are eligible, temporary cover might be provided immediately for free from when your application is received, right up until it is accepted – just so you have peace of mind that you’re covered throughout the whole process.

      Your adviser will get in touch to organise a meeting time – in person or over the phone. 

    • Discuss your options

      At the meeting, your adviser will discuss your financial situation and talk you through insurance options. 

    • Details and application
      Details and application

      If you decide to move forward with your personalised insurance plan, your adviser will handle the application process and make sure you supply all the right details.

    • Assessment and approval
      Assessment and approval

      Once we have your details, we’ll assess your application as quickly as possible. This usually takes around 2-4 weeks. To make sure you’re not left without cover, we may even provide temporary insurance while your application is being processed.

    If your circumstances change or you need to make a claim, your adviser will be there to support and guide you, every step of the way. 

    How do I choose an adviser?

    Simply request a call back and we’ll put you in touch with an adviser in your local area who specialises in the type of insurance you’re interested in.
