AIA Healthy Starter
Ever worried about how you would pay your rent if you became sick or injured and were not able to work?
Here are some helpful tips on how best to manage your AIA Starter Plan.
MyAIA is our online customer portal where you can manage your Starter Plan - from updating your contact and payment details, to making a claim, or letting us know you want to change your cover.
You can also access our Live Chat and FAQs when you need questions answered. To set this up, you’ll first need to register – it’s easy, all online and only takes a few minutes.
Already registered?
To manage your AIA Vitality Starter membership; including earning points, accessing discounts or opting in to the Apple Watch Benefit - you can do it all through your member account in the AIA Vitality app.
To set this up, you first need to activate. When your plan was issued you would’ve been sent an activation email from AIA Vitality with instructions. Once activated your member account is ready to go!

Step 1: Log into your MyAIA account and submit your claim via My Health Claims
If you are not already registered you can register here.
Step 2: Claims assessment
Once we’ve got all the information we need, our team will assess the claim which should take about 3 – 5 working days, after which we will be in touch.
Step 3: Receive payment in the nominated bank account
Once the claim is approved, the approved amount will be paid into the nominated bank account you gave us.

Step 2: Wait for your claim to be assessed
Once we’ve got all the information we need, our team will assess the claim which should take about 3 – 5 working days, after which we will be in touch.
Step 3: Claim approval
Once your claim is approved, your payments will start after your wait period has finished. Your payments will be paid to you versus your landlord or bank.

Step 2: Wait for your claim to be assessed
Once we’ve got all the information we need, our team will assess the claim and be in touch throughout the process.
Step 3: Receive payment in the nominated bank account
Once the claim is approved, your family will see the lump sum paid into the bank account they gave us.
You should also consider updating your will at the time of buying your plan so your family or beneficiaries of your life cover can access it quickly through your estate.
You can download the AIA Vitality app on the Apple App Store or via Google Play.
You can still earn points through Apple Health, Google Fit, Samsung Health and Strava but for the best experience we recommend a fitness device. Remember with AIA Vitality you can access up to 25% off Garmin, and 30% off Samsung and Fitbit selected devices.

You will receive 10% of your total plan charges you paid over the previous year at your anniversary time if you've reached Silver AIA Vitality Status or higher.
