Auckland, 21 December 2022
To mark the end of a busy and at times challenging year, AIA NZ has shared some business highlights and acknowledged the network of financial advisers and partners for their ongoing support and commitment to making a difference in people’s lives – for the better.
“As 2022 comes to a close, we have a chance to reflect on the year that was and acknowledge the amazing job that financial advisers and partners do every day,” says Sharron Botica, AIA NZ Chief Partnership Distribution Officer.
We’re making it easier to do business with us
As part of its ongoing investment into its digital tools, AIA NZ has introduced a suite of new developments in 2022, making it faster, easier and more efficient for advisers to protect and provide service to their clients – more than 800,000 New Zealanders.
“It’s been wonderful to see advisers embracing the new features in AIAHub, our adviser portal, and supporting customers to use MyAIA, streamlining the customer journey.
“Using AIAHub – our fastest and easiest way to submit applications and claim – 83% of applications were submitted digitally, including a record number of health claims. Our LiveChat function has proved extremely popular and since launch in June, 114 cases have been submitted through our virtual care service, AIA MyCare.”
AIA Vitality going from strength to strength
“AIA Vitality is the foundation of our approach to health and wellbeing at AIA NZ, and we know advisers understand the value our 40,000 members have accessed from the programme – in benefits, rewards, and tangible health improvements.”
In the past three years, AIA Vitality members have embraced the programme and taken enough steps to run nearly 500,000 marathons, with a mammoth 23.7 billion steps counted.
“Using the AIA Vitality Value Calculator, which we launched in October, advisers have another tool to show clients the value of AIA Vitality and support and motivate them to live healthier, longer, better lives – and in fact, have already helped clients see the benefits and rewards of AIA Vitality 2,236 times in just the first six weeks since launch!
“We will continue to enhance the programme with exciting new partnerships and developments planned for 2023.”
Supporting Kiwis to live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives
“At AIA NZ, we believe we have a responsibility as New Zealand’s largest life insurer to move away from simply being a payer of claims, to partner with New Zealanders to support their health and wellbeing and help them lead Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.
“From the team at AIA NZ, we wish to acknowledge the work that advisers and partners do in supporting customers every day. AIA has more exciting improvements coming in 2023 and look forward to sharing more about these in 2023,” says Botica.
