The Enhancement Summaries below detail which products we have made enhancements to and the date these enhancements are effective from.
If you hold a product that has been enhanced, in the event of a claim, we will compare the policy wordings issued to you with the latest policy wording available for the product that you hold, and we will apply the most favourable terms to your claim.
Please note that any enhancements will only apply if the claimable event occurs after the effective date of the enhancement.

AIA Living Life & Trauma - 10 October 2023
On Tuesday 10th October, we introduced some product enhancements to our Life and Trauma product range. This is to ensure our products continue to meet our customer’s needs.

This section provides information on enhancements we have made to some past product ranges (listed below) offered by AIA and Sovereign that are no longer available for sale, but remain in place for existing customers holding these products:
Sovereign TotalCare and TotalCare Max policies issued since February 2001
Sovereign Private Health
AIA Life, Income Protection, Total Permanent Disablement and Trauma products issued since 2001
AIA Real Health
