AIA NZ is delighted to announce the appointment of Aaron Gilmore to the role of AIA Vitality Coach.
“AIA Vitality is a science-backed health and wellbeing programme that provides the guidance, tools, and rewards to get more out of life and start thriving,” says Sharron Botica, AIA NZ Chief Partnership Distribution Officer.
“It is the foundation of our approach to health and wellbeing at AIA NZ, helping New Zealanders to understand how healthy they are now, giving them with the tools to start improving their health, and offering amazing rewards and discounts from our partners to keep them motivated along their journey.
“For us, this is about transforming the role that we play in our customers’ lives and in society. Rather than simply being a payer of claims, we want to a partner with people to support in their ongoing health and wellbeing.
“For many New Zealanders, Aaron will be a familiar face, with a hugely successful 30-year professional dancing career to his credit. Perhaps lesser known but no less impressive, is his diverse and extensive experience as a coach, advocate and trainer. He understands what it is to perform at the highest level and how to support others to grow and succeed. This role very much plays to his strengths, so we’re really excited to have him on our team,” says Sharron.
In addition to being a two-time Dancing with the Stars winner, Aaron has built a successful career as a professional dancer and movement teacher over many years and is a sought-after life coach and speaker. He is a trained Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner and coach, personal trauma and recovery specialist and has a successful background in sales training through Les Mills and Sunglass Hut.
“After being self-employed for nearly two decades, I am loving the opportunity to work with like-minded and energised people. I was attracted by the diversity of the role, and AIA’s purpose – to help people live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives – strongly aligns with my own personal values and how I live my life. I’m passionate about the opportunity to influence, inspire and motivate people to take steps to improve their health,” says Aaron.
Aaron joins fellow AIA Vitality Coach Katie Hunter, who was appointed in 2022, in helping to drive awareness and understanding of the value of the AIA Vitality programme.
