AIA NZ appoints new Regional Sales Manager – Northern

AIA NZ is pleased to announce the appointment of Aaron Gilmore to the role of Regional Sales Manager – Northern.

“We are thrilled to welcome Aaron into this important role,” says Anna Schubert, AIA NZ’s Head of IFA and Group Distribution.

“Aaron is a valued member of our team and has made an enormous contribution since he joined AIA NZ as AIA Vitality Coach in 2023. His extensive coaching, training and sales experience, and dedication to excellence will be instrumental in driving growth and strengthening our market presence. We’re looking forward to seeing the continued positive impact of his leadership as he takes on this new challenge,” says Anna.

“I’ve been fortunate in my role as AIA Vitality Coach to connect personally with many advisers and customers,” Aaron shares.

“I’m excited to shine a light on financial advice because it truly is a great career and business opportunity. What I love about the insurance industry and AIA NZ is that we remind people that their lives hold value beyond the sum assured. We’re protecting tomorrow, but it’s also about making sure we get the most out of today,” says Aaron.

“I’m ready to lean in, give more energy to our community, and help grow the industry. We have great products, great people, and a strong way of being at AIA NZ, and I’m eager to focus on our strengths as we move forward. I know what it is to support people through the tough times, but also to success. I’m looking forward to getting stuck in and supporting our team to provide the best service and outcomes. In addition to being a two-time Dancing with the Stars winner, Aaron has built a successful career as a professional dancer and movement teacher over many years and is a sought-after life coach and speaker. He is a trained Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner and coach, personal trauma and recovery specialist and has a successful background in sales training.

Aaron took up his new role on 30 September 2024.
