AIA NZ strengthens sales leadership with four new National Sales Manager appointments

AIA NZ is proud to announce four key appointments within the Distribution team, reinforcing its commitment to adviser support, service excellence, and sustainable growth across multiple channels.

Aaron Gilmore has been appointed National Sales Manager, Retail. Since joining AIA NZ in 2023 as an AIA Vitality Coach, Aaron has consistently demonstrated his passion for health, wellbeing, and adviser success. His transition to Northern Region Manager, Business Development, showcased his leadership and strategic acumen. With a strong background in coaching, training, and sales, Aaron is well-positioned to support the retail sales team and drive continued growth across the business.

Carley Ellis steps into the role of National Sales Manager, Aligned Advice. With nearly 20 years of experience in New Zealand’s financial services industry, Carley brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record in business development, financial advice, and leadership. Her unique blend of frontline experience and entrepreneurial insight will be instrumental in strengthening AIA NZ’s aligned advice partnerships and supporting advisers to deliver better outcomes for New Zealanders.

Sarah Hepper has been appointed National Sales Manager, Corporate Solutions. With over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, Sarah has spent the past 15 years contributing to the growth of Corporate Solutions at AIA NZ. Her deep expertise and passion for this sector make her a natural fit for this important channel. Sarah is excited to continue supporting advisers to become leaders in this growing segment of AIA’s insurance offering.

Nick Russell has been appointed as National Sales Manager, Home Loans. Nick brings a deep understanding of the home loan market and has extensive experience working alongside home loan advisers to help them build sustainable businesses grounded in competent, client-focused advice. Known for his accessibility and commitment, Nick is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the home loan advice space.
