You asked, we answered.
Why do I still get the occasional pimple as an adult? I thought I was past all that?
-Todd
Although you might associate having spots as something a teenager ought to be dealing with, there are myriad reasons why we might suffer from an occasional pimple. Some may be circumstantial - the weather warms up and we're sweating more, or we forget to wash our exercise gear or pillowcases often enough - and some may be down to our diet or hormones.
If you're just suffering from an occasional pimple these could be the factors at play, so take care to keep your skin cleansed and hydrated. If it becomes an ongoing problem we'd suggest visiting a skin specialist who can advise whether you need to apply any topicals or further treatment to the matter. If cell turnover is a problem (the slower this is, the more likely we are to suffer from congestion), then you could benefit from some specific products, like Vitamin A, that speed the process up.
